Most fun of course was the unwrapping. She has been dying to unwrap presents (and has, in fact, unwrapped a series of presents for other people left out under Linda's tree). So that was fun. And most exciting of all her gifts: glitter glue and silly string.
And because it was all of 20 degrees outside, we opted to silly string in the shower (sans water). This was of great entertainment to isabelle.
We also had a very fun Christmas day and dinner at Ninny's house. We made cookies (well, Isabelle ate cookie dough), ate whipped cream, and oh yes -- opened more presents (including a pink scooter).
By the way, if you let Isabelle fill her mouth with whipped cream--she will require that you let her kiss you. She loves to share her messes. I have also received paint kisses, lipstick kisses, and Paul routinely gets chochie kisses.
Neva made Isabelle this adorable snow hat. The timing was perfect an Isabelle loves it.
And, although (thanks to Wal-Mart), it came a few days late--one of Isabelle's most favorite things this Christmas was her new diner from Grammy, Kristine, Steve and Emily. Although I must confess there is a mental limit to how much a person can play "diner" especially when Isabelle's favorite variation is the "lttering/angry diner" during which she throws down her diner food and demands to be escorted to "jail" (aka the giant and very fun box the diner came in), whereupon she proceeds to "bust out" and continues to wreak havoc upon the diner...
And if all of that wasn't fun enough, feast this adorable video of Isabelle (with her required 5 braids) singing the entire Rudolf song.
